    My husband's boss, who's from NYC, loves their bagels, but after reading other reviews about their Columbian and Venezuelan fare, we decided to try this place for lunch this afternoon. In a word: wow!

    We ordered the hot pastrami sandwich on an onion bagel, a Cuban sandwich, and an order of the Colombian-style empanadas to split. Everything was excellent! The empanadas were a crispy shell packed with shredded pork and potatoes - basically a Colombian samosa and absolutely heavenly.

    We live close to two Cuban restaurants, but this Cuban sandwich passes them both with flying colors. The bagel sandwich was soo good with the crispy, garlicky bagel and melty cheesy goodness packed with tender pastrami, spicy mustard, and caramelized red onions. Seriously drool-inducing.

    Oh, and do not pass on the cafe con leche! I was so impressed with our meal that I'm already planning on stopping back in later this week to take home some bagels and to try an arepa, which she said to not miss!

    We were nearby and found this breakfast bagel shop. I had an everything bagel and my husband got to jalapeño cheddar bagel. Both were really good. They had hazelnut and regular coffee in a carafe.

    Our meal was $8 which is excellent value.

    The restaurant is located in a nondescript shopping plaza but it's clean and they have indoor and outdoor seating.

    Next time I would try the cinnamon bagel.

    Sunny's has an extensive menu for breakfast and lunch, including salads and sandwiches.

    It was good. Close to the mall. If you're in the area and want a bagel sandwich it's a good choice. Nothing special that would make you drive here though.

    Highly recommend this deli! They have the best sandwiches and bagels. And they are so welcoming here. I will definitely be back!
